Syntheve: ATS Resume Checker & Builder

Syntheve helps job seekers understand why their resume is getting filtered out, then fix gaps immediately in a builder workflow.

The challenge

Most resume tools either:

• Tell you “use this template” (without showing what is actually wrong), or
• Require a long setup before you learn whether your resume is competitive for a specific role

We wanted a flow that gets to truth fast: match score + diagnosis first, then a builder that helps users close the gaps without starting over.

What we built

1) ATS resume checker that explains the “why”

• Score against a real job description (not a generic checklist)
• Call out missing keywords and weak bullets
• Highlight formatting risks that get resumes misread by ATS

2) A builder workflow to fix issues immediately

• Turn diagnosis into edits (rewrite bullets, tighten structure, improve clarity)
• Make it easy to iterate: adjust, re-check, and improve

3) Performance + trust constraints

• Fast time-to-value: a useful output in ~30 seconds
• Privacy posture: resume processed in memory (not stored) as communicated on the public site

Outcome

Syntheve’s core loop is intentionally simple:

1. Check (get a clear match score + diagnosis)
2. Fix (apply changes in the builder)
3. Re-check (ship a better resume with confidence)
